How is the shaped quartz tube formed?

A shaped quartz tube is a special type of quartz tube that is manufactured through a series of processes, including cutting, firing, sealing, bending, grinding, and shaping, which are carried out in accordance with the specific requirements of users. In addition to straight quartz tubes, shaped quartz tubes can be found in a variety of shapes, including "C" shape, "U" shape, "ω" shape, wave shape, "S" shape, pear shape, and spiral shape, etc..

Our special-shaped quartz tube can be customized according to customers’ requirements, and it is available in a range of shapes, such as U-shape, C-shape, ω-shape, wave shape, S-shape, pear shape, spiral shape and other shapes. The processing of quartz glass encompasses a range of techniques, including cutting, sintering, capping, shaping, bending, and grinding to produce different kinds of quartz glassware.

The properties of quartz glass are as follows. With the softening point of 1680 °C, quartz glass can be used for a long time below 1100 °C, and can be used in a short time below 1450 °C. In addition to hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass exhibits minimal reactivity with other acids. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel.

In particular, the chemical stability of quartz glass at high temperatures is superior to that of any other engineering materials. The coefficient of expansion of quartz glass is small, rendering it highly resistant to significant thermal changes. Quartz glass can be heated to 1100 °c and will not break when then placed in water at room temperatures.

Quartz glass has good light transmission in the full spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared. The transmission of quartz glass in visible light spectrum can reach more than 93%, especially in the ultraviolet light, the transmittance can reach more than 80%. The electrical insulation of quartz glass is 10,000 times that of ordinary glass. It is an excellent electrical insulation material and has good electrical properties even at high temperatures. In addition, quartz glass is a material with excellent physical and chemical properties, which can find application in a wide range of fields, including electric light sources, semiconductors, optical communication, military, metallurgy, building, chemical industry, machinery, electric power, environmental protection and other fields.
